Find it in your account settings under Calendar sync.

Open Calendar sync

In Steadwell, open your account settings and find the Calendar sync card.

Pick your calendar

Choose Google Calendar to open it with one click, or Apple Calendar to copy your link. For Outlook or other apps, copy the link and add it as a calendar subscribed from the web.

Confirm in your calendar app

Your calendar app asks you to confirm the subscription. Accept it and your Steadwell dates appear.

Forget about it

New tasks and warranties flow in automatically as your calendar app refreshes.

A few things worth knowing

Calendar sync is a one-way subscription. Changes in Steadwell show up in your calendar; editing an event in your calendar does not change Steadwell, so mark tasks done inside Steadwell.

Your link includes a private key. Keep it to yourself, and share the home with a partner or team member through shared household access instead.

Is calendar sync free?

Yes. Calendar sync is included on every plan, including Free.

Which calendar apps work?

Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook, plus any calendar app that can subscribe to an iCal (.ics) link.

What shows up in my calendar?

Your Steadwell maintenance tasks and the dates your warranties expire.

How quickly do changes appear?

Your calendar shows your current tasks and warranty dates each time it refreshes the subscription. Calendar apps decide how often that happens, usually within a few hours and sometimes up to a day.

Does it work both ways?

No. It is a subscription, so changes in Steadwell appear in your calendar, but editing an event in your calendar app does not change Steadwell. Mark tasks done in Steadwell.

Is my calendar link private?

The link contains a private key that is unique to your account. Anyone who has it can see your task titles and dates, so treat it like a password and do not post it publicly.

Do I still get email reminders?

Yes. Calendar sync is in addition to Steadwell’s email reminders for upcoming tasks and warranty expiries.
