Is Steadwell free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and includes unlimited tasks, assets and expenses, warranty and recall alerts, utility and bill tracking, a contractor rolodex, email capture and 250 MB of document and photo storage for one property. No credit card is needed to start.
How much do Plus and Pro cost?
Plus is $7.99 a month or $63.99 a year. Pro is $14.99 a month or $119.99 a year. Paying yearly saves about 33% compared with paying monthly.
What do I get with Plus?
Plus adds the AI tools: scanning of receipts, appliance nameplates, utility bills and insurance policies, property tax bills read and explained in plain English with a year-by-year comparison, home inspection reports turned into equipment and tasks, condition assessments from photos (5 a month), Ask Steadwell (30 questions a month), AI before and after project reviews (3 a month), the home health score, the 5-year cost forecast, the project ROI calculator, a home history report and 10 GB of document and photo storage.
What do I get with Pro?
Pro includes everything in Plus with higher AI limits (25 condition assessments, 150 Ask Steadwell questions and 15 project reviews a month), up to three properties, shared access so you can invite a spouse or team member and assign tasks, 50 GB of document and photo storage and priority support.
How much storage do I get?
Photos, receipts and documents all count toward one storage total: 250 MB on Free (up to 5 files), 10 GB on Plus and 50 GB on Pro, shared across all three Pro properties. You can see what is using your space in Account Settings and the Documents tab, and deleting a file frees its space right away. Each file can be up to 50MB.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Account Settings whenever you like. Cancelling stops future renewals right away, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, and the Terms of Service have the full billing details.
Do I need a credit card to try Steadwell?
No. You can create a free account and use it for as long as you like without entering a card. A card is only needed if you choose Plus or Pro, and payments are handled by Stripe, so Steadwell never stores your card details.
Which plan do I need if I own more than one property?
Pro. Free and Plus cover one property, and Pro covers up to three, each with its own assets, tasks, documents and bills.
What is limited on the Free plan?
The AI features. Free accounts get 3 Ask Steadwell questions to try, while scanning, reading and comparing property tax bills, importing home inspection reports, condition assessments, project reviews, the home health score breakdown and the cost forecast are part of Plus and Pro. Typing in your fixed costs and property tax is free. Every account can see its overall home health score. Free storage is 250 MB and up to 5 files. Everything you track on Free stays yours if you ever change plans.
