How to raise it

Most of the points are a few minutes away.

01
Clear overdue tasks
Finish or reschedule anything past due. Scheduled-ahead tasks cost you nothing.
02
Add install dates
Real install dates give Steadwell a true read on each asset instead of a home-age estimate.
03
Stay ahead of warranties
Renew or replace coverage before it lapses, and let alerts remind you.
04
Finish your profile
Fill in the home details and your insurance renewal date.

Common questions

What is the home health score?
A single score from 0 to 100 that shows how well your home is being kept up, based on the information in your Steadwell account. It comes with a grade of Excellent, Good, Fair or At risk.
What goes into the score?
Four things: the condition of your assets (age against expected lifespan, overdue maintenance and open recalls), how many of your tasks are overdue, how much of your warranty coverage is current, and how complete your home and insurance profile is. Asset condition counts the most.
Do I need a paid plan?
Every account can see the overall score. Plus and Pro unlock the factor-by-factor breakdown so you can see exactly what is pulling the score down.
Why did my score drop?
The usual causes are a task going overdue, a warranty expiring or ending within 30 days, a new recall on something you own, or an asset reaching the end of its expected life. The breakdown shows which factor moved.
Do upcoming tasks hurt my score?
No. Only tasks that are past due count against you. A task scheduled for the future is a good sign that the home is being planned for.
Can condition assessments change my score?
Yes. A recent condition assessment gives Steadwell a better read on an item than its age alone, and that feeds the asset factor.
Is it an appraisal or an inspection?
No. The score reflects the records you keep in Steadwell. It is a way to see where to focus, not a professional evaluation of your home.
